Each of us... at some time in our lives, turns to someone - a father, a brother, a God... and asks... Why am I here? What was I meant to be?
Special effects production notes from Robert Wises 1979 adventure sci-fi film Star Trek The Motion Picture.
When an alien spacecraft of enormous power is spotted approaching Earth, Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner) resumes command of the overhauled USS Enterprise in order to intercept it.
Production notes were used to plan and document the special effects used in the film. The item is paper, some of which is bound by metal fasteners, and consists of two folders full of production paperwork, shot lists, equipment lists and a production photograph of the Earth Spacedock from Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. The item shows minimal wear from production use with worn edges and discolouration to the paper, but it remains in an otherwise very good condition.
Materials: Paper, Ferrous Metals.
