Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

Hand-Drawn Nilo Rodis-Jamero Storyboard - Bird of Prey Departure

Stock #125769

A hand-drawn Nilo Rodis-Jamero storyboard made for Leonard Nimoy's sci-fi sequel Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. In the film, to save Earth from an alien probe, Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and his fugitive crew go back in time to San Francisco in 1986 to retrieve the only beings who can communicate with it: humpback whales.

Rendered in ink and watercolor by Nilo Rodis-Jamero, this storyboard depicts the Klingon Bird of Prey before it departs from the planet Vulcan at the beginning of the film. This piece shows signs of wear from production use and age, including some stains and tears along the edges, but remains in overall good condition.
