Excelsior Designs #1-3 Concept Prints

Stock #50659

Concept design copies 1-3 for the USS Excelsior from Leonard Nimoy's 1984 installment of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. In this movie, Admiral Kirk (William Shatner) and his bridge crew risk their careers stealing the decommissioned Enterprise to return to the restricted Genesis planet to recover Spock's (Leonard Nimoy) body.

These three designs show the USS Excelsior at different angles and styles. The first page shows two ships, one against a planet and starry background, the other simply against a black background. It is titled "Excelsior Design #1," is dated "2-25-83," and has a Paramount Pictures Corp. 1983 copyright stamp. The second page features an isometric view of the ship against a black background. It is titled "Excelsior Design #2," is dated "3/9/83," and also has Paramount Pictures copyright stamp. Several scribbles in black are also drawn on this page. The third page features a side view of the Excelsior against a black background. Like the others, it features the title "Excelsior Design #3," is dated "3/9/83," and shares the same copyright stamp as the others.

These items feature some signs of wear from production use and age, but remain in overall excellent condition.
