Polaron emitter prototype fragments made for the production of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. These devices are featured predominantly in the episode Apocalypse Rising. In this episode, the Klingons begin a war with Starfleet under the command of a Changeling imitating Martok, a Klingon general. Polaron emitters are devices that are capable of exposing Changelings that are in disguise.

These pieces are made from a brittle wax-like substance with the exterior painted in bronze with blue detailing. This emitter shows some wear from age and use, but remains in overall good but fragile condition.
