A hero grenade from the production of Guy Ritchie’s 2011 crime adventure: Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.

This grenade and others like it were made for the production of film and can be seen at various points in the film, most notably in the scene on the train in which assassins try to kill Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.), Watson (Jude Law) and Mrs. Watson (Kelly Reilly). The grenade has a wooden handle and metal body with ridged black resin. A black wash has been used to pick out the detail of the 'Meinhard' crest - the fictional weapons manufacturer - on the grenade’s body. A leather tab is also present at the top of the grenade.

The grenade has very little wear from production use and age, and remains in an excellent condition.
