"I am a leaf on the wind watch how I soar."
An stunt Reaver forked blade from Serenity, Joss Whedon's 2005 big screen continuation of his much-loved television series Firefly.
The crew of the Serenity - lead by Captain Malcolm Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) - must evade capture from an assassin sent after one of the crew, the young telepath River Tam (Summer Glau).
This weapon and others like it were made for the production and were used by the feral Reavers, most notably in the climactic battle, as the crew of the Serenity fend off Reavers while Mal tries to tell the galaxy about a failed Alliance experiment with massive consequences.
The weapon is made of hardened rubber and is painted to look like rusted and worn metal. It has a grip made of black plastic tape and is gruesomely decorated with resin bones painted to look like the real thing. It is made of rubber so that it is safe to use when filming the fight scenes. It has some minor wear from production use, including a couple of scuffs and scratches, but remains in an otherwise excellent condition.
Materials: Rubber, Resin, Man-Made Woven Fibres.
