”No, I only know how to say, "I don't speak English" in English.”

A script from Breck Eisner’s 2005 action adventure film Sahara.

Diving for a maritime heritage agency, diver Dirk Pitt (Matthew McConaughey) rescues World Health Organisation doctors Eva Rojas (Penelope Cruz) and Frank Hopper (Glynn Turman), who are investigating a strange disease in the region. Hunted by local troops and corporate assassins, the group stumble upon a massive conspiracy – as well as lost treasure from the US Civil War.

This production-used script is printed on 122 sheets of white A4 paper and features numerous highlighted sections which focus on action sequences – this suggests that the script was used as part of the stunt co-ordination process.

There is some creasing and dog-earing to several of the pages, particularly at the back of the document, and light marks from handling. The script is held together with two large brass split pins – it is not clear whether a cover page was originally supplied. It remains in good overall condition.
