Richie Lanz's (Bill Murray) gunshot wound costume from Barry Levinson's music comedy Rock the Kasbah While on a USO tour in Afghanistan, a music manager discovers a talented young Afghan girl and manages her through a televised singing competition. Richie wears his costume after he's been shot when he tries to prevent a warlord from taking over Salima's (Leem Lubany) village. The costume consists of a white shirt, undershirt, blue jeans, a pair of boots, a bandanna, a belt, sunglasses, a necklace and wrist cuff.
The white button-up shirt is made by Toscano and is a size large (L). The shirt is distressed with stage blood and a "bullet hole" in the left shoulder from production. The white undershirt is made by Bredciani and is a size large (L). The left shoulder also features a hole made in the left shoulder from production. The blue jeans are made by Adriano Goldschmied and are a size 36. The brown ankle boots are made by Nunn Bush and are a size 11.5. The green bandanna is both solid colored and patterned and is also distressed with stage blood.The brown leather belt has a handwritten "#1" written on the back of it. The aviator sunglasses are made by Ray Ban and feature rose-colored lenses and a gold frame. A brown and blue puka shell necklace and a metal wrist cuff complete the costume.
Much of the costume shows wear made during production, but the costume remains in very good overall condition.
