A giant French Army Fleur De Lys banner used in the 2010 Ridley Scott and Russell Crowe movie Robin Hood. The invading French forces under the direction of King Philip can be seen with banners such as this, emblazoned with the established French emblem of three Fleur de Lys, one as large as this would almost certainly have been used aboard a ship toward the end of the movie as they sail to Dover. Made from a synthetic silk material, the blue banner features three golden fleur de lys patches sewn on, and has rope along one edge to secure it to a flag pole. It measures approximately a massive 221cm x 343cm (87" x 135") and is in great condition with some subtle evidence of use on set.
