A pair of paintbrushes from the 2002 Sam Mendes crime thriller, Road to Perdition. The film stars Tom Hanks as Michael Sullivan, a mob enforcer and father who is out to track down the mobsters who murdered his family. The brushes are used by Michael and his son, Michael Jr. (Tyler Hoechlin), as they repaint their getaway car.
Both brushes are made by Purdy, and have sturdy wooden handles. The bristles have been dipped in a burgundy paint, but have a slightly lighter tip. The wide brush measures approximately 11.5" x 4" (29cm x 10cm) while the narrow brush measures approximately 11.5 x 2" (29cm x 5cm). Both are in good production used condition.
