A wooden pedal extension created for the production the Sam Mendes' 2002 drama Road to Perdition.
After Michael Sullivan's (Tom Hanks) wife and child are murdered, he sets out for revenge and must teach his remaining son Michael Jr. (Tyler Hoechlin) to drive using wooden pedal extensions so that he may act as getaway driver during their journey.
The extension is a small wooden block which has thin rope wrapped around the exterior. The rope has also been connected to the block by an adhesive substance. The piece measures approximately 5" x 5" (13cm x 13cm). Due to production use, the extensions have become somewhat worn, but remain in a good condition.
