"The Revenge of Frankenstein" (1958) was Hammer's hugely successful sequel to their smash hit horror "Curse of Frankenstein" (1957), which proved popular in its own right. It was re-released in 1960/61 with John Stockle's Frankenstein creature artwork slightly reworked. A stunning poster and, like most country of origin, Hammer paper from the period extremely scarce. This unrestored UK Quad presents (as is) to good effect but would benefit from restoration and linen-backing to bring it back from the dead.
30" x 40" (76 x 102 cm)
Condition: Fair to Good
Unrestored, folded (as issued). Noticeable fold line wear with some splits, tears and paper loss to the fold lines, cross fold areas and edges (some enlarged and scattered around the edges and corners. The silk-screen printed colours remain bright and unfaded. Overall this presents (as is) to good effect.
