A signed Christmas card from Walter Murch’s 1985 fantasy film Return To Oz. Dorothy returned to the Land of Oz to find that it had been conquered by the Nome King.

The front of the card features an image of Dorothy, Jack Pumpkinhead, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Tik-Tok and Scarecrow. They are soaring through the air in a flying machine at the head of which is the Gump. The image in rendered in blue and white except for yellow, green and red accoutrements on a Christmas tree. Silhouetted against the moon is Father Christmas with his reindeer.

The inside of the card features “Holiday Happiness from ‘Oz’”. The card is signed by Walter, Paul and Gary – these being Walter Murch and the film’s producers Paul Maslansky and Gary Kurtz

The lot is in very good condition.
