A Villager's Weathered Narrow Blade Stunt Axe used in the 2011 Catherine Hardwicke fantasy film, Red Riding Hood. In the film, the town of Daggerhorn is haunted by a vicious werewolf, while a young villager named Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) falls in love with the local woodcutter, Peter.
Axes are frequently brandished by the men of the village as many serve as woodsman. This axe features a blade made from brittle foam, that has been secured to a long wooden handle. The blade has been expertly painted, complete with realistic blemishes and surface scratches to appear like an aged tool. Along with the production made scratches, the blade on this item does feature minor wear to the foam, including small chips in the paint and surface edges.
This item measures approximately 8" x 2" x 42.5" (20cm x 5cm x 109cm) and is in overall good condition.
