A Villager's Wide Bearded Style Stunt Axe used in the 2011 Catherine Hardwicke fantasy film, Red Riding Hood. In the film, the town of Daggerhorn is haunted by a vicious werewolf, while a young villager named Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) falls in love with the local woodcutter, Peter.
Axes are frequently brandished by the men of the village as many serve as woodsman. This axe features a sharp blade made from metal, that has been loosely attached to a long wooden handle. The blade has been textured to appear aged and rusted. Please note that the blade is not secure to the handle, and in some instances can slide down the staff.
This item measures approximately 8" x 2" x 40" (20cm x 5cm x 102cm) and is in overall good condition.
