A Shield used by one of Solomon's Soldiers from the 2011 Catherine Hardwicke fantasy film, Red Riding Hood. In the film, the town of Daggerhorn is haunted by a vicious werewolf, while a young villager named Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) falls in love with the local woodcutter, Peter (Shiloh Fernandez).
This shield is wielded by the soldiers led by by Father Solomon (Gary Oldman). Made from metal, this shield is shaped like a kite and features four pointed corners. This shield has been textured with paint to appear rusted with age. Attached to the facing is a large metal cross. The backside features a metal handle which has been coated almost entirely in the rust color.
Production made distressing is featured throughout the shield, including dents along the upper perimeter. This item is in good condition.
