The Captains' (Adrian Holmes) Belt With a Whip Holder from the dark 2011 adaptation of the classic children’s story, Red Riding Hood. In the film, the town of Daggerhorn is haunted by a vicious werewolf, while a young villager named Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) falls in love with the local woodcutter, Peter.
Father Solomon's (Gary Oldman) second in command is a character referred to simply as 'Captain' (Adrian Holmes), and can be seen wearing a belt like this one in several scenes throughout the film. The belt is made of thick black leather with a metal buckle at one end and six belt holes at the other end. On the right hip of the belt is a girdle-style leather attachment with a strap that can be buttoned to the belt to form a loop. Captain wraps his whip around this loop so that it is suspended from his hip. On the inside on the buckle, the word “Captain” is written in a silver pen.
The belt is measures approximately 48” (122cm) in length and is in excellent, production-used condition.
