Special effects air canister featured in Ridley Scott’s Sci-Fi epic Prometheus, this along with many appear at various points throughout the movie, however they play a pivotal role in the sequence where Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) climbs aboard the ejected life pod in order to secure more oxygen for which she is rapidly running out of.

This special effect air canister is a small tube with a rounded end which is made of a hard metallic grey rubber as they can be seen being dropped on the floor when Shaw is collecting them. They have three engraved lines circulating the tubes which give the impression that they can be opened. This particular canister is unpainted. Holes have been placed in the bottom which were to keep the canisters in place when on set.

This is a fantastic little addition to the Prometheus collection and measures 14cm x 4cm (5.5” x 1.5”), although there are some slight markings due to use on set they are overall in very good condition.
