Big things have small beginnings.

A space suit hanging rack from Ridley Scotts 2012 mystery sci-fi film Prometheus. Following clues to the origin of mankind, a team finds a structure on a distant moon, but they soon realize they are not alone.

Spacesuit stands were used as set decoration in stations around the spacesuit room. These racks can be seen whilst the crew are getting prepared to mount the expedition to the planets surface. Each spacesuit and helmet had its own rack which is suspended in front of the crew members dressing station.

Made from a brushed metal frame, there are several sections to the rack including black wires, simulated red lights and hooks. This piece has had some distress due to use and movement on set, but it remains in an otherwise good condition.
