Production-Used Blueprints & Concept Art - Weyland Corp Rovers

Stock #55573

A set of blueprints and artwork used in the production of Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel Prometheus.

Led to a distant planet by ancient wall paintings, scientists Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green) join a corporate-sponsored mission to discover the source of life on Earth. But in the ruins of an alien space craft, the human explorers soon find that all is not as it seems, and a great threat lurks in its deep holds.

These blueprints and design renders were used as part of a set used to visualise the designs for the Weyland Corp personnel transports and the “Rover Transporter” vehicles, a flatbed version of the personnel transport vehicle used for moving the smaller ATV-style rovers. The blueprints have a number of diagrams showing vertical and horizontal views of the vehicles. At the top right hand side of the sheet is a data form detailing the department the blueprint belongs to and the responsible personnel for the vehicle’s construction. The artwork is printed on A4 paper showing different profiles of the futuristic exploration vehicle.

The blueprints display signs of production wear including creases and some minor tears. However, in spite of this wear, the blueprint remains in overall good condition, with the largest document measuring 94cm x 60cm (37” x 23.75”) unfolded.

Materials: Paper.
