Prometheus

Deck Suit

Stock #79495

“Final report of the vessel Prometheus. The ship and her entire crew are gone. If you're receiving this transmission, make no attempt to come to its point of origin. There is only death here now, and I'm leaving it behind. It is New Year's Day, the year of our Lord, 2094. My name is Elisabeth Shaw, last survivor of the Prometheus. And I am still searching.”

A crew deck suit from the production of Ridley Scott’s 2012 space mystery drama Prometheus.

The discovery of a clue to mankind's origins on Earth leads a team of explorers to the darkest parts of the universe. Two brilliant young scientists lead the expedition. Shaw (Noomi Rapace) hopes that they will meet a race of benevolent, godlike beings who will in some way verify her religious beliefs, while Holloway (Logan Marshall-Green) is out to debunk any spiritual notions. However, neither the scientists nor their shipmates are prepared for the unimaginable terrors that await them.

This item consists of three pieces; a beige all-in-one utilitarian jumpsuit made by Academy Costumes in London, with a manufacturer’s label in the collar. This label has a name hand-written on it: ‘James Embree’, who is credited as playing ‘Mechanic 1’. This jumpsuit is covered in numerous zips and pockets and has two elasticated panels at the waist.

The second piece of the item is a light brown cap, with the Weyland Corps name and logo embroidered above the peak, in slightly darker brown thread. The size of the cap is adjustable thanks to a Velcro® fastening at the back.

The third piece is a jacket, in the same colour and material as the jumpsuit with a Weyland Corps logo stitched over the left breast in black thread and a more detailed, blue and yellow coloured Weyland Corps on the left arm, bearing the motto: ‘Building Better Worlds’. The piece is a little creased and shows signs of production use and storage but otherwise is in good condition.

Materials: Cotton, Man-Made Fibres, Ferrous Metals.
