Prisoner's Striped Trousers

Stock #93035

”We got the wrong play, the wrong director, the wrong cast. Where did we go right?”

A pair of prisoner’s striped trousers from the production of Mel Brooks’ 2005 musical comedy The Producers.

Broke and fearing for his career, producer Max Bialystock (Nathan Lane) enlists accountant Leo Bloom (Matthew Broderick) in a scheme to try and create the biggest flop in Broadway history, swindling many old heiresses in the process.

Prisoners wore their striped trousers at the end of the film when Bialystock and Bloom were in prison, still working on stage plays. Trousers like these can be seen as part of the background of the scene, as well as on the characters. Showing only minor production-based wear, the they remain in excellent condition.

Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres.
