Robert Angier's (Hugh Jackman) Distressed White Shirt and Waistcoat

Stock #124318

“The secret impresses no one. The trick you use it for is everything.”

Robert Angier’s (Hugh Jackman) distressed white waistcoat and shirt from Christopher Nolan’s 2006 mystery sci-fi film The Prestige.

After a tragic accident, two stage magicians engage in a battle to create the ultimate illusion while sacrificing everything they have to outwit each other.

Angier wore his vest and shirt when performing on stage doing his master teleportation “illusion” where his clones would end up in a tank of water to die. The waistcoat is white cotton with fabric buttons and a metal waist fastener and the shirt is white cotton with pearl buttons and a tailor’s tag which reads “HJ Jan. 2006”. Both garments come with production wardrobe tags. The waistcoat and shirt show water damage and discolouration from use in the production, but they remain in an otherwise good condition.

Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres, Ferrous Metals.
