An Ape bolas weapon used in the Tim Burton sci-fi movie Planet Of The Apes.

Air Force astronaut Captain Leo Davidson (Mark Wahlberg) crash-lands on a strange world ruled by evolved, talking apes who dominate a primitive population of humans.

This ancient weapon was used to bring down horses in battle and was used by the Ape Red Army in the movie. This prop displays three bell shaped pieces made from soft rubber finished in dark grey shades. Cast in engraved detailing features all over and the pieces are attached to a woven rope.
Displaying minor paint wear, the weapon remains in very good condition and measures approximately 66 cm (26").
