“And that's why, in a straight fight, a shark would probably beat a Dracula”

A rare and original paintings set from the Buckingham Palace scenes of Aardman Animation’s 2012 adventure comedy The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!

Pirate Captain (Hugh Grant) is determined to win the Pirate of the Year Award and defeat his rivals Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek). His quest takes him and his crew from their home on Blood Island, to the streets of Victorian London.

This pair of paintings were made for the production and one appears during the Buckingham Palace scene at the beginning of the film. One of the paintings features an alligator head on a platter with an apple in its mouth, while the other is of a snake sandwich.

Made of resin and hand painted to look as authentic and worn as possible, the pieces remain in an excellent condition.

Materials: Resin.
