This lot will be auctioned on Friday, November 4th. An animation cel from the production of Alan Parker's musical drama Pink Floyd: The Wall, based on Pink Floyd's classic album of the same name. The Schoolmaster is shown during "The Trial" as a string puppet controlled by his wife. English cartoonist and illustrator Gerald Scarfe created the film's animated sequences, and he worked with Pink Floyd on several occasions.

The cel is hand-painted on an acetate sheet, with ink used for the strings and outlines. There are tape remnants along the bottom edge and a tear in the top right corner, while the left edge is folded from previous storage. Dimensions: 29.5 cm x 41.5 cm (11 1/2" x 16 1/4")
