Set dressing script, photos and pamphlets from Rob Marshall’s 2009 musical romance Nine. Famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) struggles to find harmony in his professional and personal lives, as he engages in dramatic relationships with his wife, his mistress, his muse, his agent, and his mother.
Though this style is not obviously seen on screen, paperwork was used as set dressing on Guido’s desk and throughout the film as he worked on his new film. The set consists of an Italian faux script with the title Martedi e Mercoledi (Tuesday and Wednesday), a set of eight headshots of extras that appear in the dance sequences in a folder, a set of Italian documents in a folder and a set of four La Rotunda pamphlets. The set shows minimal wear from production use with spots of dirt throughout and a small pen mark on the cover of the script, they remain in an otherwise very good condition.
