Mountain Men, The

Wind River Rendezvous

Stock #51920

A Silver and Bronze belt buckle from Richard Lang's 1980 western, The Mountain Men. In the movie, a pair of grizzled frontiersmen (Charlton Heston, Brian Keith) fight Indians, guzzle liquor, and steal squaws in their search for a legendary valley "so full of beaver that they jump right into your traps."

Cast in silver, this belt buckle features a bronze image of a western frontiersman with "Wind River Rendezvous" engraved in black. Delicate carving and floral motifs complete the decorative nature of this belt buckle. The back has "Terry Leonard #21" hand engraved. Terry Leonard worked as a stunt coordinator on the production. The back is also stamped "Hand Crafted Jackson Hole, WY 100% 1979" and has two stamps from the artist.

This item features some signs of wear from use and age, including a slight tarnishing of the metal, but remains in overall excellent condition.
