Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise’s suits from a 1968 episode of The Ed Sullivan Show (1941-1978).

Morecambe and Wise were a comedy duo in the 60’s and 70’s, most commonly know for their series The Morecambe and Wise Show.

Morecambe and Wise wore their suits while performing a sketch with actress Michele Lee. The suits are tailor-made and consist of two grey blazers with buttons, each with a handwritten label reading “Eric” and “E.Wise” respectively and two pairs of grey trousers with adjustable waistbands, one of which has a handwritten label reading “Eric”.

The suits show minor wear from production use, Wise’s has small tears by the neckline and sticky label residue. Despite their age they are in an overall very good condition.
