A screen-matched Helium-3 canister from Duncan Jones' sci-fi mystery Moon. Canisters were used to store the alternative energy source Helium-3. Several marks on the handle of the canister screen match to the scene in which Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) loaded a rocket and launched it to Earth at the beginning of the film.
Made of wood and fibreglass, the canister features a circular carry handle, four protruding fins, bright orange-and-black decals, and "Sarang" stencilled on both sides of the body. The lot is finished in metallic faux-silver paint and has been intentionally weathered. There is minor damage to the top of the fins and the canister displays light scratching and scuffs.
