Mommie Dearest

Large Red Joan Crawford Scrapbook

Stock #51115

A Large Scrapbook from Frank Perry's 1981 film adaptation, Mommie Dearest. Adapted from a memoir of the same title, this film depicts the abusive and traumatic upbringing of Christiana Crawford (Diana Scarwid) by her adoptive mother, Joan Crawford (Faye Dunaway).

This scrapbook features a red leather cover, with "Joan Crawford" printed in gold ink at the bottom right corner. Inside the scrapbook, 60 blank pages are left intact, divided into 10 page segments. The inside back cover indicates that this scrapbook was created by Bookform Binder, in Hollywood, California. Though not clearly seen in the film, this scrapbook was most likely used early in the film, when Crawford is seen cutting the faces of Greg Savitt (Steve Forrest) from the photos.

This item features some signs of wear from use and age, including some tears in the spine, yellowing of the pages, and tape residue on the front cover, but remains in overall fair condition.
