A Large Black Scrapbook from Frank Perry's 1981 film adaptation, Mommie Dearest. Adapted from a memoir of the same title, this film depicts the abusive and traumatic upbringing of Christiana Crawford (Diana Scarwid) by her adoptive mother, Joan Crawford (Faye Dunaway).
This scrapbook features a black cover, with "Joan Crawford" printed in gold ink towards the bottom of the cover. Inside the scrapbook, 30 pages are left intact, some with photos, letters, telegrams, and other mementos included in corner pockets. Also included with this scrapbook are several photos of Crawford and Greg Savitt (Steve Forrest) with his face cut out. Though not clearly seen in the film, this scrapbook was most likely used early in the film, when Crawford is seen cutting the faces of Savitt from the photos.
This item features some signs of wear from production use and age, including some scuffs on the cover, missing photos inside, and some aging of the protective pages, but remains in overall fair condition.
