A gun used by all of the major cast in the making of Enter the Matix, the videogame spinoff of The Wachowski’s 2003 sci-fi sequel The Matrix Reloaded.
Enter the Matrix’s story starts just before the events in The Matrix reloaded, and then runs parallel to the film. It focuses on the characters of Niobi (Jada Pinkett-Smith) and Ghost (Anthony Wong) as they go on their own missions to help fight for humanity’s survival.
This casting of a Baretta 92FS 9mm pistol was used by all the principle actors from the movie trilogy in the game for motion tracking performances. It has a number of reflective balls added which were used to track motion and digitally simulate the natural movements of each character in the video game. It can be seen being used in the ‘Making of Enter The Matrix’ on the Matrix Reloaded DVD. There is some wear from production use including scuffs and scratches, and there is some sticky residue from the tape holding the reflective balls in place, but it otherwise remains in a good condition.
Materials: Rubber, Man-Made Woven Fibres.
