Sgt. Michael V. Boccuzzi's (Riley Neldam) flight cap and a collection of props from the WWII drama Masters of the Air.
Pilots and crew members of the 100th Bomb Group wore caps while on missions over Europe. The brown leather cap has a wool lining and has a handwritten label reading "Boccuzzi" and two handwritten labels reading "#60 Garrison", indicating that it was also used for the character of Garrison (Gabriel Scott). The cap is accompanied by an "Escape and Evasion" kit, which includes faux French and Belgian banknotes, a fabric map of France, Spain and Portugal, a miniature compass, and a miniature metal saw blade; a prisoner of war dog tag; a pair of USAAF wings; and four 50 cal. shell casings held in a chain. The pieces have been intentionally distressed to appear well-worn and used.
