Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) is entrusted with the task of destroying the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom by the wizard Gandalf (Sir Ian McKellen). He is accompanied by a band of hobbits, human warriors, an elf and a dwarf to accomplish his daunting task – the Fellowship of the Ring.
