Stunt Mle 1777 Flintlock Musket

Stock #32938

A Stunt Mle 1777 Flintlock Musket from the 2012 Stephen Spielberg historical bio-pic, Lincoln. In the film, the continuous carnage of the Civil War wages on as President Abraham Lincoln (Daniel Day-Lewis) faces his own personal battle to pass the Thirteenth Amendment in order to abolish slavery.

While the Enfield and Springfield were the most widely used Civil War firearms, the French made Mle 1777 found occasional use by the Union army. The piece has been crafted from the mold of an actual Mle and includes original factory markings on the side of the weapon. Made from dense rubber, it has been textured with paint to appear severely worn from battle. This rifle measures approximately 2.5" x 60" x 7" (6cm x 152cm x 18cm) and does feature some minor wear from production but remains in overall good condition.
