This item is a stunt beating stick from Clint Eastwood's 2006 stunning WWII drama Letters From Iwo Jima. Items such as this can be seen towards the beginning of the film as Captain Tanida (Takumi Bando) brutally beats two privates for being "unpatriotic." This stunt weapon is made out of a dense rubber molded around a rod. The exterior has been painted brown and distressed to give a tree branch look. Due to production use and storage this item displays some light wear but overall remains in good condition. This piece measures approximately 32" (81cm) in length.
