Lara Croft's (Angelina Jolie) medallion from the production of Jan de Bont’s 2003 action-adventure sequel Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.
Fearless explorer Lara Croft tries to locate Pandora's box before criminals Jonathan Reiss (Ciarán Hinds) and Chen Lo (Simon Yam) use it for evil. According to myth, the box holds deadly organisms that could kill millions of people. With her old partner, Terry (Gerard Butler), Croft goes on a hunt that takes her from Europe to Asia to Africa, helped by her pal Kosa (Djimon Hounsou).
Lara (Angelina Jolie) first took the medallion from the underwater Santorini temple. It was worn by Chen Lo (Simon Yam) during the temple fight, and by Lara as she fought Jonathan Reiss (Ciarán Hinds).
Made of plastic, the medallion is approximately 3mm thick, with subtle detail and four necklace eyelets on its circumference. A female piper figure is embossed on both sides, surrounded by undulating lines representing sound waves. A line runs around the circumference from its mould and the piece exhibits minor wear from production use. However, in spite of this wear the piece remains in very good condition.
