A set of two stunt sword hilts created for the production of the 2004 Clive Owen film King Arthur. Throughout the film, Lancelot (Ioan Gruffudd) utilizes two swords as we follow the journey of Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. These hilts would have been used as “holster fillers” when the swords were not needed, as well as possibly for visual effects shots, for the actor’s safety.
The hilts are made of rubber and each feature a gold ribbed pommel and grip. The black and silver blade only extends approximately 3.5” (9cm) past the gold guard on each sword. Each piece measures approximately 11.5” (30cm) in length, and is in good condition with some light wear due to production use.
