King Arthur

Guinevere's (Keira Knightley) Petticoat

Stock #21961

“Pelagius told me once: ‘There is no worse death than the end of hope.’” “You and I are not the polite people that live in poems. We are blessed and cursed by our times.”

Guinevere’s (Keira Knightley) petticoat from Antoine Fuqua’s 2004 action adventure film King Arthur.

A demystified take on the tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.

This style of flowing undergarment was used throughout much of the movie by Guinevere, the daughter of Merlin (Stephen Dillane) and a leader amongst the Celtic Woads, just visible beneath her blue dress costume and worn to protect her from the harsh cold during filming.

Custom-made for the actress, this garment is made from cream-coloured cotton with a decorative square pattern woven into it, tiny hooped trim, and hook and eye fasteners down one side. Made by ‘Jane Law of England’ it includes a hand written label reading 'Keira Knightley' inside. The piece remains in very good condition, with no sizes marked.

Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres, Ferrous Metals.
