King Arthur

Gaelic Infantry Sword

Stock #30193

A Gaelic Infantry Sword from the 2004 film, King Arthur. In the film, the Romans depart Britain, leaving the natives without protection from the advancing force of the ruthless Saxons invading from the north. A group of loyal Roman knights, headed by their leader Arthur (Clive Ownen), decide to stay and are able to thwart the Saxon invasion and create a free nation in Britain. Swords of this style can be seen in the film’s culminating battle scene, as they are wielded by infantrymen in Merlin’s (Stephen Dillane) Gaelic force.

The sword is made of hard rubber and painted to resemble a burnt steel, with a simple pommel and guard. The sword measure 42” (107 cm) and is in good, production-used condition.
