A newspaper from Peter Howitt’s 2003 spy comedy Johnny English. Bungling MI7 agent Johnny English (Rowan Atkinson) tried to thwart a nefarious plot by Pascal Sauvage (John Malkovich) to steal Britain’s Crown Jewels.

Angus (Ben Miller) is reading a paper by the pool during the mid-credits scene when Johnny accidentally ejected Lorna (Natalie Imbruglia) from his car. Dated 14.04.03, the Times newspaper bears the headline “Knighthood for hero English,” with an image of a suave-looking English in a tuxedo. A sub-heading beneath reads “Sauvage faces long jail term”, with an image of a pensive Sauvage. Unusually for newspaper props, the two articles in question feature full descriptions of the events that unfolded in the film, albeit with some typographical errors. The rest of the newspaper features Times newspaper copy from 17.07.02.

The newspaper's front page has a beige hue due to oxidation, commensurate with its age, but the lot is in very good condition.
