Agent Johnny English’s (Rowan Atkinson) SFX injector ring from Peter Howitt’s 2003 spy spoof Johnny English.
With all of Britain’s secret agents assassinated, the government is left with only one man to protect the crown jewels – Johnny English. But when they are stolen, Johnny uncovers a plot by Pascal Sauvage (John Malkovich) to dethrone the Queen. Unless Johnny, his sidekick Bough (Ben Miller) and Interpol crime-fighter Lorna Campbell (Natalie Imbruglia) can stop him.
This item is a special effects injector ring worn by Agent English (Rowan Atkinson). It is an ingenious prop, activated by squeezing tiny rubber bellows attached to the ring via a thin tube. A small hollow spike then pops up through a fake diamond at the ring’s centre. Unfortunately, the mechanism no longer works. The fake diamond broke but has been repaired. The ring is made from aluminium with the inside drilled out to accommodate the tube. It features prominently in the film as Atkinson accidentally injects himself with muscle relaxant while trying to infiltrate Sauvage’s headquarters.
Materials: Aluminium, Ferrous Metals, Plastic, Rubber.
This item comes with a Prop Store Certificate of Authenticity.
