James Bond: Casino Royale (2006)

The Times 'MI6 Assassination' Newspaper

Stock #90040

"Do you want a clean kill or do you want to send a message?"

The Times ‘MI6 Assassination’ newspaper from the production of Martin Campbell’s 2006 entry in the Bond franchise, Casino Royale.

Bond (Daniel Craig) is newly armed with a license to kill and sets out on his first mission as 007. He must defeat a banker who funds terrorists in a high-stakes game of poker at the Casino Royale in Montenegro.

The newspaper and others like it were made for the production and it features a front page with the story of Bond assassinating a bombmaker (Sebastien Foucan), which was the first action set-piece of the film. The paper is not obviously seen onscreen in the final cut of the film although M (Judi Dench) does show a copy of another paper to Bond. The cover features a CCTV shot of the event. The cover page is printed over an old page from The Sun tabloid, and the inside is a copy of The Times from February 2006.

The newspaper has some wear from production use and storage, including some minor creasing, but overall it remains in an excellent condition.
