This is a prototype version of the tri-key used in the 2005 action adventure film The Island. This is a early version made for the film as a futuristic key for the clone facility, but was later abandoned, and not seen in the final cut of the film.

Made from a solid piece of aluminum with a laser cut three pronged end, this key features a separate plate of anodized purple aluminum on the face, and a black key fob with a working red LED. The key measures 3" long (7cm) and is in good condition.
