A light-up male agnate fiber optic costume from Paramount Pictures' The Island. Dr. Bernard Merrick created sterile human clones known as agnates, who wore identical futuristic suits while living in Merrick's colony.

This costume consists of a white polyester blend mesh hooded shirt with clear rubber and metal tubing woven throughout the mesh and a clear fibrous tail wrapped in white spandex; a matching pair of pants with an elasticized waistband and a data patch labeled with "Agnate Series 3 Delta" and blood type "AB Positive" along the leg; and a cream-color canvas waist strap for an agnate to its suspension chamber via plastic clips numbered "B2C." Reflective square sequins are affixed throughout the shirt and pants, which along with the strap are hand-labeled "Sheldon." Electronic wiring present in the costume has undergone sympathetic restoration to restore the ability of some of the elements to glow blue. The costume exhibits staining on the strap as well as lost and thinning fibers from production wear and age.
