Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom

Storyboard Production Binder #1

Stock #30379

A storyboard production binder from Steven Spielberg’s 1984 adventure film, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Labeled “1”, this binder features photographed storyboard pages detailing the film’s opening scene in the Shanghai nightclub and the daring airport escape. This binder was first issued to Bill Welch, the construction manager on the film, though similar binders would have been distributed to several department heads on the film to help maintain Spielberg’s singular vision for the piece. The board panels are printed on white, yellow, and light green paper and bound in order in an Amerely file binder. The spine of the binder feature’s Welch’s name on a slightly bent tag, as well as a tag for the names of the sequences in the binder. The binder and pages alike are slightly worn thanks to aging, with the cover fading slightly in color. Overall though, this 14” x 11” x 3” (36cm x 28cm x 8cm) binder is in good, production used condition.
