Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade

Original Production-Used Storyboard - Tank Heads Towards Cliff Edge (TANK 125)

Stock #81920

”Our situation has not improved.”

A framed, production-used storyboard copy used in the production of Steven Spielberg's classic adventure film Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade.

Pages such as this were integral to the creation of the movie, and enabled the team to visualise each shot early on. This illustration shows a shot from the exciting sequence where Indy (Harrison Ford) battles Vogel (Michael Byrne) on the tank while trying to save his father, Henry Jones Sr (Sean Connery).

This production used copy is signed by veteran producer Robert Watts. The tank is pictured from above, entering the bottom of the frame with the cliff edge just ahead and a directional arrow showing where the action needs to go. Below the illustration is a scene description directing the action. Printed on white A4 sized paper, the storyboard has been labelled as a ‘Matte Shot’, stamped ‘TANK 009’ and labelled ‘TANK 125’. Hole punches at the top show that it would have been held as part of a sequence. The storyboard comes presented in a custom-built display with laser cut mount board featuring the movie title and brief description. The frame measures approximately 37cm x 36cm (14 ½” x 14 ¼”).

Materials: Wood, Acrylic, Paper, Card, Ferrous Metals.
