A folder of assorted designs from the production of Roland Emmerich’s 1996 blockbuster Independence Day.
This collection of prints would have been used on the production to work out the designs of vehicles, various sets and components. Contained within a manilla folder, the set consists of 97 colour printed designs, with a large amount of the artwork featuring artwork for the attackers which were the primary fighter craft of the alien Harvester race. Many of the prints feature annotations, some designs have post-it notes attached with handwritten labels and some sheets are paperclipped together.
Also included in this collection are sixteen behind-the-scenes photographs including the set for the recovered attacker ship within Area 51. Four of the photos are taped to the inside of the folder.
Some of the prints have minor creasing from storage and edge wear from production use. But considering their age they remain in an overall excellent condition.
Materials: Paper, Card, Ferrous Metals.
