A production distressed head sculpture from the production of 2009 Terry Gilliam fantasy The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus starring Heath Ledger and Christopher Plummer. This piece was unfortunately cut from the final edit of the film however a statue featuring several of the 'miniature' heads can been seen being made in a making of documentary which looks at the model making behind the film.

It is made from biscuit foam with the face area painted a dark grey and the cardboard roof/hat a light brown. The entire piece has had heavy intentional distress which suggests it was perhaps intended for the scene towards the end of the film when Dr Parnassus walks across the baron wasteland where numerous structures can be seen from throughout the film, these were designed to appear as towering statues, but in reality are a manageable 55cm tall. The surface of the statue has been decorated to look as though it is made stone. Measures 55cm x 37cm x 38cm (21.75” x 14.5” x 15”) wide and is in a fairly fragile condition.
